I’m Adam Moore, a software engineer based in Tokyo.

I build AI products, data systems, and developer tools.

At Mercari, Japan’s largest C2C marketplace, I work on AI features used by millions of people. I built the production category-suggestion system for listings, which earned me Mercari’s company-wide MVP award in Q1 2026.

Before that, at MCD3, née MC Digital, I led data engineering work on sales forecasting, logistics optimisation, and shared data platforms for large Japanese companies.

My main tools are Clojure, Python, SQL, and Google Cloud.
